Nas, Cardi B, Miguel and T.I. are among the performers announced for the ninth annual ONE Musicfest, which will take place Sept. 8-9 at Central Park in Atlanta. Other performers will include Jeezy, Big Sean, Kelis, Brandy, August Greene, Big K.R.I.T., George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, GoldLink and DVSN. August Greene is a group that features Common, Robert Glasper and Karriem Riggins.
ONE Musicfest is one of a limited few performances fans can catch these artists at this summer. Nas is also set to perform at the BET Experience at L.A. Live on June 21 and at a rare concert with Black Star on July 31 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. Kelis, T.I. and Brandy are also doing a select number of performances this summer.
Cardi B is the opening act for Bruno Mars' fall 2018 leg of his "24K Magic" tour, so being a headliner at One Musicfest will be a chance for her to perform more songs than she would as an opening act. Since rising to fame on "Love and Hip-Hop: New York," Cardi B has become the biggest-selling female rapper of the year so far. Her first album, Invasion of Privacy, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released in April.
Miguel is been touring steadily since the release of his 2017 album War & Leisure. He's doing several festivals this year, including Smokin' Grooves on June 16 in Long Bach, California.
One Musicfest could be one of the last times that people can see funk legend George Clinton perform in Atlanta, since he has announced that he is retiring from touring in 2019. Clinton and Parliament are doing several shows this year in the U.S. and Europe, including headlining an Aug. 31 concert at the Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles.
