The 14th annual 515 Alive Music Festival will return to Des Moines July 22 and 23. To be hosted at the Western Gateway Park in Downtown Des Moines, with a stacked line-up of national and local hip-hop and electronic artists, 515 Alive is a creative and cultural festival that brings together tens of thousands of fans for an intimate artistic experience.
With over five stages for music and over 80 acts, plus live art performances and shows, 515 Alive is set to impress yet again this year. Being as 2015 was the first year the festival saw a two-day longevity, the anticipation for 2016 is fueling from the momentum from last year's success.
As Iowa's original and longest running music festival, 515 Alive brings the heat with nationally esteemed electronic and hip-hop performers. Headliners for 2016 include electronic producers Zeds Dead and hip-hop sensations Machine Gun Kelly and A$AP Ferg. Joining the headliners will be fellow electronic acts Bear Grillz, Boombox Cartel, Break Science, Destructo, G-Buck, and Heroburst. Additionally on the bill is Hippie Sabotage, Mielo, Probcause, SNBRN and Terravita, plus many more.
