Alan Jackson reveals the first dates of his 2017 Honky Tonk Highway Tour.

Sony Nashville

Country veteran Alan Jackson is livin' on love and music a lot these days. Following his successful Keepin' It Country Tour this year, the singer will be returning to the open road in 2017 on what he has dubbed the Honky Tonk Highway Tour. Joining him is fellow music-maker and icon Lee Ann Womack on select dates, as noted below. The tour officially launches Jan 20 with a show at Paradise Cover in Tulsa, Okla. and continues throughout the rest of the year. Only a handful of dates have been announced and more are expected to be revealed soon. So far, he will hit up markets in Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale and Minneapolis.

Tickets (for specified dates) go on-sale this Friday (Dec. 9), with the rest becoming available next Friday (Dec. 16). Details below.

As diehard fans can probably guess, Jackson brings out plenty of steel guitar, twang and the heartfelt classics--performing many of his most well-known hits on the road, ranging from his classic debut single "Here in the Real World" through his most recent studio album, 2015's Angels & Alcohol. He's also released an expansive, legacy-reaching three-disc boxed set called Genuine: The Alan Jackson Story. The collection digs deep into his catalog for cherished gems such as "Wings," "If Tears Could Talk," "Right on the Money" and "That'd Be Alright," among many others.
