Alan Jackson is ready to give his fans a good time as the owner of a new Nashville bar

Alan Jackson is making his way further into the bar business by opening AJ's Good Time Bar in Nashville. The Boot spread the word that Jackson is turning a former cigar bar named The Wheel into his new bar located at 421 Broadway in Nashville's Lower Broadway area. Jackson's purchase gave him the new record for paying the highest price for a building on Lower Broadway, by spending $5.75 million his new property will take the name from Jackson's hit song, "Good Time."

Jackson already has his feet firmly placed in the Nashville entertainment scene as a partner in another establishment on Lower Broadway. Jackson became involved in Acme Feed & Seed as an investor in 2014, with that location becoming a three-story building that includes a concert hall and honky-tonk for live music performances, and also features a cocktail lounge, restaurant and rooftop bar.

The Acme Feed & Seed was formerly an Acme Farm Supply store. Jackson joined in on the grand opening celebration of the Acme Feed & Seed by putting on a surprise performance for the guests, so visitors heading to visit AJ's Good Time Bar can keep their fingers crossed that Jackson might do the same for his newest bar when the doors open.
