Anthrax to answer fan's questions on Facebook Live

Any time that heavy metal infiltrates the mainstream it's always somewhat of a victory for the fans and lovers of the genre. So being about to watch thrash masters Anthrax on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers is a pretty rare treat and one that's welcomed with horns-a-throwing. Scheduled to share the bill with legendary Oscar Award winning actor Robert DeNiro, Anthrax will appear on the popular late night show airing tonight, Wednesday, August 24 at 12:35 a.m./11:35 p.m. CT. How's that for a rocking pairing of talent?

But the other cool thing that's happening in Anthrax camp today is that fans will have something even more intimate to sink their Anthrax-loving teeth into - a Facebook Live session.

Facebook Live is an exciting new option that features real-time video posts on the site, and are becoming quite popular among not only celebrities and public figures but the average Facebook user as well. Whether you're broadcasting your child's softball game or a performer is sharing their concert, Facebook Live offers a great live and interactive way to be apart of events that are happening right right now. And today at 2 p.m. EDT Anthrax will be taking questions from their loyal following and answering them live from backstage in the Late Night with Seth Meyers studio.

Fans who want to ask a question of the band, log on to the band's official Facebook page and ask away. But even if you don't have a question but just love Anthrax and want to watch, this Facebook Live session will be a treat in that regard as well. With an array of exciting milestones and happenings for the band from Anthrax's 35th anniversary in 2016 to their smoking hot new album, For All Kings, to being in the midst of a worldwide tour, the possibilities for questions to ask the band are seemingly endless.

And then be sure to catch Anthrax when they join their Big Four brethren Slayer for a major North American fall tour that kicks off Sept. 9.
