Black Veil Brides added to growing list of featured bands for Vans Warped Tour

Attention Vans Warped Tour fans -- many new bands have been added to this annual festival's prestigious line-up! Black Veil Brides is just one of many bands that has been added since tickets went on sale for the Vans Warped Tour back in December 2014. Black Veil Brides is an American rock band that first formed in 2006 and while they are originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, the band is now based in Los Angeles, California. This will not be the band's first appearance at the highly popular Vans Warped Tour. In fact, this will be BVB's fourth time playing this annual rock music festival.

To date, Black Veil Brides have released four studio albums, including 2010's We Stitch These Wounds, 2011's Set the World on Fire, 2013's Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones and 2014's self-titled album, Black Veil Brides. Current members of the band include lead vocalist, keyboardist and sometimes bassist Andy Biersack, lead bassist and backing vocalist Ashley Purdy, rhythm guitarist, violinist and backing vocalist Jinxx, lead guitarist Jake Pitts and drummer and percussionist Christian "CC" Coma.

Black Veil Brides has a large and loyal fan following, as well. They have a dedicated website called the BVB Army (much like the "KISS Army") and from the numerous awards the band has won over the last nine years, it is evident they are doing a great job of turning out music their fans love and keeping them happy. BVB has won awards from Revolver's Golden Gods Awards show, including Best New Band in 2011, Most Dedicated Fans, Best Vocalist and Best Guitarist in 2012 and Song of the Year in 2013. The band has also been nominated a number of times by Kerrang! and won with them once in 2013 for Best Live Band. MTV acknowledged them in 2011 by presenting them with the Favorite Breakout Band award, and Loudwire has also given them props with the 2013 Most Dedicated Fans award.

In addition to being on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, Black Veil Brides has also been performing in 2015 on the Black Mass Canada and U.S. Tour in February and March, supported by Memphis May Fire and Ghost Town, and will continue on with the Black Mass Europe Tour in March and April with opening bands Fearless Vampire Killers and Like A Storm.
