After a bit of a delay, country singer Brad Paisley has set the official release date for his 11th studio album, Love and War, now expected April 21. The record's new single "Today" rises into the Top 5 at country radio, following the lukewarm success of the Demi Lovato-assisted "Without a Fight" last year. Reportedly, the record features collaborations with Mick Jagger and Timbaland and is co-produced by Paisley and Luke Wooten, who has also worked with Dierks Bentley, Sunny Sweeney, Kellie Pickler and Dustin Lynch.
“I wanted the collaborations on this record to be collaborations that took me outside of what you’d typically think and brought that other world into this, but it’s also very country,” Paisley told Taste of Country.
Paisley wraps his Life Amplified World Tour this weekend, with a pair of shows tonight, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18. Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell have performed as his opening acts on the 2017 leg. Paisley heads overseas to England's Country 2 Country Festival in March.
