Ever since the release of their 2015 debut album Grow, progressive rockers CHON have become one of the most praised bands on the scene alongside Periphery, Circa Survive, and Between The Buried and Me. Back in January, the band started working on their sophomore studio album with producer Eric Palmquist (The Mars Volta, Thrice). The release in question is titled Homey, and it's set to be released on June 16. With fans already in love with the record's first single "Sleepy Tea", the outfit decided to drop something new today.

Their new single is titled "Waterslide," and its accompanying music video was directed by Steven Contreras. The visual finds the band having adventures with man's best friend. Digital and physical pre-orders for the new album are live over on their website.

Starting on June 2, CHON will embark on their headlining tour in support of the new album with special guests from Tera Melos, Covet, and Little Tybee. While tickets are on sale to the general public right now, those looking to drop a bit more money can pick up one of two VIP packages. The Mega Homey VIP package, which is valued at $80, includes a signed set list, a special acoustic set from CHON, and a game of corn hole with the band. VIP packages have been selling out left and right, so be sure to pick yours up before it's too late.
