Daryl Hall & John Oates to perform at Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA

From their humble beginnings which began in the Philadelphia club scene during the early 1970’s, Daryl Hall & John Oates have gone on to sell more albums than any other duo in music history.

Their arsenal of hits includes an impressive six #1’s: “Rich Girl," "Kiss On My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," "Maneater" and "Out of Touch." This, in addition to their other smash songs like “Sara Smile,” “One on One,” “You Make My Dreams,” “Say It Isn’t So” and “Method of Modern Love.”

One of the most sampled artists of a generation, the influence of Hall & Oates’ neo-soul, fusion sound can still be found today in many rap, rock and soul groups.

Now, Hall and Oates; who were recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will bring their historic catalog of material to the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA on Thursday, February 26. It will be the second time the duo performs at the Sands. Their previous show in September of 2013 was a complete sell-out.

Although it's been more than ten years since the duo has released a full album of new material together (2003’s “Do It For Love"), Hall & Oates have continued to release music for eager fans. Their 2006 “Home For Christmas” album was well received as was 2009's “Do What You Want, Be What You Are: The Music of Hall & Oates”- a boxed set featuring a comprehensive 74-track compilation from the duo’s entire career.

In addition to continuing to tour together both Daryl Hall and John Oates have been involved in other successful projects over the years. Hall currently hosts his own monthly web show, “Live from Daryl' House", which features Hall along with an eclectic mix of artists performing in Hall's home studio. Oates meanwhile has been involved in his "Good Road To Follow" project - a series of collaborative original songs released as digital singles.

The Sands Event Center is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania - a short drive from New York and Philadelphia. Resting on the site of what was once the historic Bethlehem Steel foundry, the Center also features a hotel and casino nightlife experience as well as nearby shopping and dining.
