The holidays are a great time to spend with family enjoying the seasonal events and Christmas lights in San Antonio in 2017.

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration
Nov. 18 - Jan. 2

SeaWorld San Antonio presents the largest display of lights in Texas, with more than eight million twinkling lights illuminating the grounds. The walking tour of SeaWorld will take you to 15 different lands, each offering a different holiday twist. The Christmas Tree Light Show will feature the 27-foot tall tree in front of the Nautilus Amphitheater, a light show, and holiday music. Kids and adults will have fun meeting Rudolph and Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends. See the SeaWorld website for ticket information and purchase online in advance for savings on admission.  

San Antonio Christmas Light Fest

Take the family for a drive through the holiday light display and enjoy the colorful lights from the comfort of your car. The spectacular light show features more than two million sparkling lights, decorating light tunnels and festive holiday displays along a two-mile path. Visit Santa’s Village, located in a rustic barn filled with holiday flavors, family fun, and shopping. Santa Claus will be visiting the rach every weekend leading up to Christmas. Admission is $27 per vehicle.

Holiday Lights on the River Walk

The famous River Walk is illuminated throughout the holiday season, so take the family for a stroll to see the brilliant lights reflecting on the water. The River Walk will be illuminated with 122,000 sparkling lights blanketing the bald cypress trees, creating a festive holiday scene.  

Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias

Take the family for a stroll along the Riverwalk, illuminated by more than 2,000 Luminarias. The Luminarias area a traditional Mexican Christmas lantern used in a centuries-old tradition. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Luminarias and the Ford Holiday Boat Caroling.

Zoo Lights
Nov. 18 - Dec.31.

The San Antonio Zoo will be decorated for the holidays with an array of twinkling lights. Take the family to see the beautiful decorations and to enjoy activities that will be enjoyed by kids and adults. New this year will be an ice skating rink and camel rides. Zoo Lights will be included with zoo admission. There may be additional fees for some of the special activities, such as ice skating and camel rides.

 Morgan’s Wonderland Christmas

Morgan’s Wonderland Christmas will feature family-friendly fun during the holidays. The grounds are decorated with Christmas lights and there will be kid-friendly activities, including the petting zoo, ice skating on the ice rink, pictures with Santa, and holiday entertainment.  Admission tickets are $11-$17.

Elf Acres

Elf Acres is a drive-through holiday light show on   15 acres. Take the family to see the holiday lights from the comfort of your cars. Tickets are $25/vehicle.

Christmas on the Island
