Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents In This Moment's Black Widow Tour at The Moore Theatre in Seattle on Thursday, October 30, 2014. In This Moment is an American metalcore and hard rock band created by lead singer Maria Brink and lead guitarist Chris Howorth. Since the band's debut album, Beautiful Tragedy, which released in 2007, In This Moment has participated in some of the rock industry's biggest tours, including Rock on the Range, Van's Warped Tour, Ozzfest, the Mayhem Festival, Uproar Festival and Carnival of Souls tour.
In This Moment has released a total of four studio albums including Beautiful Tragedy (2007), The Dream (2008), A Star-Crossed Wasteland (2010) and Blood (2012). The band's fifth studio album, Black Widow, will be released in stores on Nov. 18, 2014 and they have also released one live album in 2014, Blood at the Orpheum. Black Widow's first single, "Sick Like Me," was made available for digital download on Spotify and also at iTunes on Sept. 9, 2014.
In This Moment's last album, Blood, debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at No. 15 and ended up selling more than 250,000 units in just the United States. Its top-selling single of the same name, peaked at No. 9 on various mainstream rock music charts.
From In This Moment's Facebook page, lead singer Maria Brink says the band's new album Black Widow "is definitely the darker part of me and that it's about being reborn, setting yourself free and realizing the balance in everything - the dark and the light." This will be In This Moment's first album released with Atlantic Records and it is produced by Kevin Churko, who is known for working with iconic rockers like Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Five Finger Death Punch and Hellyeah.
