On Saturday January 24, 2015, Los Angeles based In This Moment performed their first show of 2015 as part of the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) convention. The showcase was sponsored primarily by Schecter Guitar Research Company, Rock N’ Roll Industries Magazine and Coldcock Whiskey.

The show, having been held at the Grove of Anaheim, just minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Center to where NAMM was being held over that last weekend, made it easy for spectators to walk or cab it over from the convention. The 2000 capacity venue also held a pre-party with samples of Coldcock to those of age (the show was also for people over the age of 21), copies of Rock N’ Roll Industries Magazine spread around and an open area for patrons which included fans, musicians and exhibitors to mingle.

Opening for In this Moment was Escape the Fate which are, of course, also sponsored by Schecter Guitar Research who put on a great set which featured a strong 45 minute set. They have Australian tour dates scheduled for the early spring with some summer American festival dates. Further information is available on their website and Facebook page.

In This Moment has their latest album out Black Widow and currently their first single and music video “Sick Like Me” is currently on YouTube. The elaborate 90 minute included popular costume changes between some of their classic hits such as “Blood” and “Whore,” as well as playing their upcoming latest single “Big Bad Wolf” and “Sex Metal Barbie.” With the show at capacity and many fans singing along, their upcoming European dates this Spring as well as the upcoming summer festival dates and headliner dates to come will prove to be a huge success. Further information is available in the website and Facebook pages.
