Initial lineup & ticket info revealed for CMT Music Fest 2016

Today the CMT Music Fest has announced some of the bands and artists set to perform at the country music festival this summer, which will hopefully hold fans over until the big lineup announcement. Among those artists announced today, two are headliners, which are Eric Church, and the Zac Brown Band.

Also performing at the 2016 CMT Music Fest will be the Canadian country music group The Road Hammers, singer-songwriter Leah Daniels, Andrew Hyatt, and Kira Isabella. A complete lineup, along with the daily schedule will be announced closer to the festival date.

The 2016 CMT Music Fest is set to take place July 8 & 9 at Bingemans in Kitchener, Ontario. Tickets go on sale Feb. 5 via the festival's website here. An early bird weekend pass is $189.99. Once those sell out, the price will jump to $199.99.

A weekend VIP pass is $349.99. With that pass you'll get quick entry into the festival, a storage locker, entry into VIP areas (including the backstage lounge), a parking pass, and access to the CMT Music Fest after party, which is going to be held on the festival grounds.

If you don't get a VIP pass, a parking pass for both days is $30. There's also going to be a shuttle service, which is $20 per person. The shuttle is going to be picking people up from multiple points across Downtown Kitchener.
