The heavy metal hit the music scene in big D this past Sunday at the Bomb Factory. Ministry and Avatar, the most deathly combination brought drama and hell to the music stage. AXS got some exclusive pics from the show, and also got the opportunity to appreciate all that is hellacious with these bands.

First to the stage was the Nordic rock kings which hail from Sweden known with only one epic name, Avatar. These Swedes were so amazing that everyone in the place was feeling their hard hitting strums. As expected, Johannes Eckerström brought out the new face of Avatar, with his deathly clown makeup, long black hair and button down British style trench coat. The band brought their "Black Waltz" to the stage to fans moodily delight. While they played, echoes of sin rang out throughout the rafters. Dancing ensued, which was more like kicking and hitting your next neighbor while jumping into the unkindly air.

Ministry headlined the stage, bringing their oh so eerie dark angel skeleton stand onstage for their performance. Since Jourgensen announced that there will be no more albums, the Beer To EternaTour marks the first tour since Mike Scaccia died back in 2012, when "Relapse" was released. Considered one of the most satanic bands in the world, they brought their satanic rock to the stage. Hate music filled the lobes of the audience, and they ate it up like blood thirsty vampires. Kicking and jumping, the room soon filled like a mosh pit. with people jumping and bumping while the guitars wailed. If death metal is your thing, you missed one helluva concert. Check out our exclusive pics of the bands above, including pics here and here.
