Chris Young is wrapping up his 2015 tour dates by canceling the remainder of them. Taste of Country shared the news that Young would not be able to perform for the remainder of the dates after being diagnosed with strep throat. Young's illness forced him to cancel his stops that were set to happen in Duluth, Minn., Rochester, Minn. and Green Bay, Wisc. which was set to be the last 2015 date for Young's I'm Comin' Over Tour.
Young did not waste any time making sure that the canceled show dates were rescheduled for his fans that had purchased tickets to come see him at the shows. Young will now be performing in Green Bay, Wisc. on Jan. 7, 2016, Rochester, Minn. on Jan. 8, 2016 and head to Duluth, Minn. on Jan. 9, 2016. Young already had show dates set to happen for his I'm Comin' Over World Tour in 2016 prior to his illness because he decided to keep the shows rolling into the new year and extended the tour.
Young explained the cancelled shows by telling his fans “This is my life right now… Been trying to beat this thing so bad…I never want to disappoint you guys, but I have to reschedule the shows in Duluth, Rochester, and Green Bay due to strep throat. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in January and I can promise you we’ll have a big night when I’m back!”
Young is having a rough patch on his tour right now but he continues to stay on a winning role with his new music. Young is still sitting at the top of the charts with his latest hit "I'm Comin' Over" claiming the number one position on the charts for the third time. Young was also able to make his album debut for I'm Comin' Over in the top spot as well.
