It’s the tour that shows no sign of slowing down. If you were hoping to see Chris Young in concert this fall, then your wish has been granted. The country music star has announced the addition of 25 shows to his current I’m Comin’ Over Tour, with an assortment of special guests on the schedule. The additional shows will take Young around the country.
The fall leg of the tour kicks off with a show at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California, on September 29. Other stops on this extension of the tour include Lubbock, Texas; Kearney, Nebraska; and Moline, Illinois, before wrapping up December 10 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
Young is also bringing along a few friends with him on the extended tour. Dan + Shay, Cassadee Pope, and Dustin Lynch are all slated to perform on select dates of I’m Comin’ Over Tour. In addition, a special guest is scheduled to perform on select dates of the tour; that performer will be announced at a later date. The full tour schedule for this fall, including performance dates for special guests, is posted on Young’s website.
As noted on Young’s website, tickets for the tour, which is presented by AEG Live, go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on May 6. Exclusive VIP packages will also be available for purchase in limited quantities.
Young’s fans don’t have to wait for September to see him in concert. The country music singer has a slew of performances on the schedule through this summer, with shows in cities that include Nashville, Chattanooga, and Louisville. Young’s full list of upcoming shows is posted on his website.
The announcement of the tour extension almost coincides with the news that Young’s duet with Cassadee Pope has topped the Country Airplay charts, as reported by Billboard. “Think Of You” is from Young’s latest album, I’m Comin’ Over. The album, which was released in 2015, was nominated for Album of the Year and the titular track was nominated for Single Record of the Year for the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards last month.
