Chris Young enjoyed his first ever number one album in 2015 with I’m Comin’ Over and has been touring the world, picking up more fans along the way. He will continue to spread his music this spring, when he co-headlines the SpringJam Festival in Panama City Beach, Florida. According to Country Weekly on Wednesday, he will co-headline the huge festival with Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett.
SpringJam takes place in Panama City from April 7-9, and there are over a dozen more artists scheduled to perform alongside the headliners. Chris Young will headline the first night on Thursday night, April 7, while Rhett will headline the Friday night show and Rascal Flatts will close out the show on Saturday night.
The event kicks off each day at 3:30 p.m. ET. On Thursday, the concerts start with Mo Pitney, and he will be followed by Blackjack Billy, Drake White and the Big Fire, Cam, and Frankie Ballard, before Young takes the stage to close out the first night. Friday’s show starts with Them Dirty Roses, followed by Jamie Lynn Spears, RaeLynn, Parmaloee, Jerrod Niemann, and then Thomas Rhett.
The day night of the SpringJam concerts start with Chuck Wicks, followed by Kirstie Lovelady, Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, Kelsea Ballerini, and the headliner Rascal Flatts. Jay DeMarcus said that he is excited that Rascal Flatts will headline the show, saying that festivals are his favorite places to perform in concerts because everyone is just there to party.
Last year’s three-day event at Panama City Beach was the Gulf Coast Jam in September and more than 18,000 people showed up. That was an impressive number since that was the first time that event took place. This is also the first ever SpringJam Festival, so one has to think a similar turnout should occur, especially with the quality bands on hand.
Tickets for SpringJam at Panama City Beach, Florida, are on sale now. They can be purchased through the SpringJam website and range from $59 for a single day pass up to $199 for VIP passes. There is also a discount for military personnel, with three-day passes for only $69.
