CMT Music Fest 2016 announces lineup with Eric Church among performers

This summer’s festival season just got even more interesting for country music fans. Organizers of CMT Music Festival 2016, which will be held July 8 and 9 in Kitchener, Ontario, have announced the performance lineup for this year’s event. If you wanted to see Eric Church and Zac Brown Band in the same festival, then you're in luck, as both acts are performing there.

A total of 10 musical acts have been announced as of press time for CMT Music Festival. Joining superstars Church and the Zac Brown Band are quintet Cold Creek County, Leah Daniels, Andrew Hyatt, Kira Isabella, Lindi Ortega, Meghan Patrick, The Road Hammers, and Washboard Union. The upcoming festival’s lineup includes an assortment of artists from the U.S. and Canada, and details on each performer are available on the festival’s website.

As noted on the festival’s website, additional artists and set times will be announced at a later date. It is unknown how many additional acts will be announced. The festival’s website also noted that programming will start in the afternoon on Friday, July 8, and a full day of programming is planned for Saturday, July 9.

The news regarding the lineup was announced on February 1 via the festival’s website and official Facebook page, as well as on Yahoo.

Limited quantities of two-day general admission early bird tickets go on sale starting February 5. Details regarding festival passes, including the two-day VIP weekend passes, are available on the festival’s website. In addition, festival-goers can use the layaway plan to purchase passes. Camping options are also available. The festival will be held at Bingemans in Kitchener, Ontario.

CMT Music Festival is one of many country music festivals on the calendar for 2016. Country music fans can also see their favorite performers take the stage at festivals that include Trackside Music Festival in London, Ontario (July 1 and 2), Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Prince Edward Island (July 8-10), and Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Oro-Medonte, Ontario (August 4-7).
