Eric Church becomes a record breaker in Nebraska

Eric Church has added Nebraska to his list of record breaking concert stops.Taste of Country shared the news on May 22, 2015, that Church added another record breaking stop to his tour by performing in front of 15,823 fans at Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Church topped Elton John who previously held the record by having 1,500 more fans attend his show.

Church has already set new arena record marks with his Outsiders tour stops in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Chicago and Nashville where he performed for 18,000 fans. Church was named Billboard's Hot Tours recap winner with the Outsiders World Tour by achieving the most single week ticket sales in all musical formats. Church has reached the top spot on the touring list by selling over 725,000 tickets for stops in over 60 cities.

Church is keeping his road show going and has plans set to get in front of even more fans by teaming up with Kenny Chesney to bring The Outsiders Tour together with The Big Revival Tour. Church and Chesney will join up for a stop together at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City on May 25, 2015.

Church and Chesney team up again for a stadium show at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on May 30, 2015, and get back together again on June 13, 2015, for a stadium show at The Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The guys join back up again on July 11, 2015, in Philadelphia for a stadium show at Lincoln Financial Field.

Church discussed his record breaking ticket sales by saying, “I’m humbled by the success this tour has had,” adding, “The records it has set, by some of my muses and heroes, it’s all very surreal.” Church added, “As an avid music fan, I’m not sure it’s deserving in comparison to those I adore musically. I can only say this happened because, in my opinion, our fans are second to none.”
