Eric Church is making his way into “The 57th Annual Grammy Awards” as a performer with four nominations for the night and is thinking about Kathy Griffin. ABC News reported on Feb. 6, 2015 that Church is having fun reliving a moment from the 2012 Grammy Awards when Griffin ended up in his seat at the show.

Church was nominated in the Best Country Album category when he attended his first Grammy show and Griffin wound up sitting in Church’s seat right at the moment when the winner was about to be announced. Church is up for the win once again in the Best Country Album category for “The 57th Annual Grammy Awards” and will hopefully be in the right seat.

Church earned his Best Country Album nomination for The Outsiders which faces Miranda Lambert with Platinum, Dierks Bentley for Riser, LeeAnn Womack’s The Way I'm Livin’ and Brandy Clark with 12 Stories. Church is also a nominee in the Best Country Solo Performance category with “Give Me Back My Hometown” facing Hunter Hayes for "Invisible," Lambert’s "Automatic," Carrie Underwood with "Something In the Water" and Keith Urban with "Cop Car."

Church could also score the win in for the Best Country Song category with “Give Me Back My Hometown.” Church faces Kenny Chesney’s hit “American Kids,” Tim McGraw Featuring Faith Hill with “Meanwhile Back At Mama's” Glenn Campbell’s “I'm Not Gonna Miss You” and Lambert for “Automatic.”

Church earned his nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for teaming up with Urban on “Raise 'Em Up.” Church and Urban compete for trophy against Lambert and Underwood for “Somethin' Bad,” Little Big Town’s “Day Drinking,” McGraw with Hill on “Meanwhile Back At Mama's” and The Band Perry for “Gentle On My Mind.”

Church joked about his seat being taken by Griffin back in 2012 by saying "We had a little standoff. You know, first Grammys." Church added "My wife and I ended up having to sit in the aisle right before they did the nominees for Country Album, which would have been great if we won, 'cause then they would've had to pan over to Kathy Griffin and us sitting in the aisle."

Church also talked about performing on the Grammy stage by saying "It’s gonna be interesting to see how it goes.” Church continued by saying "It's kind of nerve-wracking, but I’m looking forward to it."

You can catch “The 57th Annual Grammy Awards” on Feb. 8, 2015 starting up at 8:00 p.m. EST on CBS. See the full list of Grammy nominees here.
