Eric Church receives four GRAMMY nominations

Eric Church is sitting at the top of the list of nominees for “The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards.” Church and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert each scored four nominations when the nominees were revealed on Dec. 5, 2014. Iggy Azalea, Beck, Tom Coyne, Jack White, Gordon Goodwin, Jay Z, Sia, Usher and Drake also head into the award show with four nominations.

Sam Smith, Beyonce and Pharrell Williams head into “The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards” leading the list of GRAMMY nominees by receiving six nominations for the big night. Beyonce also earns the new title of being the most GRAMMY nominated female in the history of the awards. “The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards” are set to take place on Feb. 8, 2015 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Church is a nominee in the Best Country Solo Performance category facing Hunter Hayes with "Invisible," Lambert’s hit "Automatic," "Something In the Water" from Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban with "Cop Car." Church scored another nomination for Best Country Album with The Outsiders going against Riser from Dierks Bentley, Brandy Clark’s 12 Stories, LeeAnn Womack for The Way I'm Livin' and Lambert’s Platinum.

Church is also in the running for the Best Country Song trophy with “Give Me Back My Hometown.” Church is going up against Kenny Chesney’s hit “American Kids,” Glenn Campbell’s “I'm Not Gonna Miss You,” Tim McGraw Featuring Faith Hill with “Meanwhile Back At Mama's” and Lambert for “Automatic.”

Church received his fourth nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for his work with Urban on their hit song titled “Raise 'Em Up.” Church and Urban are facing off against The Band Perry with “Gentle On My Mind,” Lambert and Carrie Underwood on “Somethin' Bad,” Little Big Town’s “Day Drinking” and “Meanwhile Back At Mama's” from Tim McGraw with Faith Hill.

Church is ready to team up with Chesney who is his fellow GRAMMY nominee to take on five stadium shows together. The two will be joining up for their first stadium show on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. and will get back together on Saturday, May 30, 2015 for their second stop together in Pittsburgh, Pa. at Heinz Field.

The joint stadium shows keep going in June at The Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga. on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Next up is a show in Philadelphia, Pa. at Lincoln Financial Field set for Saturday, July 11, 2015 with their final stadiums shows together wrapping up on Saturday, Aug, 22, 2015 in Detroit at Ford Field.
