Eric Church shatters attendance record at Rosemont's Allstate Arena

Despite all in intentions in crafting his outsider image, Eric Church is as much a part of the in-crowd as any current mainstream hit-maker. During his recent concert (March 20) at Rosement, Illinois' Allstate Arena, the rockstar performed to a record-setting number of concertgoers. With 18,626 passionate country fans in attendance, Church ripped into his most notable hits, such as "Homeboy" and the Grammy-nominated "Springsteen" (full set list below), and he surpassed any previous concert attendance record ever. He even usurped Vicente Fernandez's previous tally of 18,452.

The numbers have been verified by Allstate Arena executive director Patrick Nagle.

"Our journey in the city started in 2005 for about 20 people on Weed Street at a place called Joe's Bar. Those 20 were loud and proud, and they turned this thing into damn near 20,000," Church said in a statement on Saturday (March 21). Rosemont's legendary venue has housed such performance by Fleetwood Mac (who christened it in 1980), the Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. Quite the company to be a part of, right?

Church's entire Outsiders World Tour gives fans a complete 360-degree exerpience.
