Pop group Fifth Harmony premiered the new music video for "Work from Home" on Feb. 26. The ladies get back to work on this banger with rapper Ty Dolla $ign.
"Work from Home" is the lead single from Fifth Harmony's upcoming sophomore album, 7/27. For the fans at home, those numbers signify the date 5H was formed on The X Factor U.S. back in 2012. "Work" comes on the heels of the group's biggest hit last year, "Worth It," and the Hotel Transylvania 2 cut, "I'm in Love With a Monster." It's also the ladies' steamiest offering yet.
"Work from Home" was produced by Ammo, the guy behind Maroon 5's "Sugar." He supplies Fifth Harmony with lofty and booming beats reminiscent of a DJ Mustard number. Last year's "Worth It" saw the ladies flirting with sexual innuendos but this time around they are more direct in their approach. Still toying with the worlds of employment and pleasure, member Ally Brooke sings, "Imma give you a promotion / I'll make it feel like a vacay / Turn the bed into an ocean." Ty Dolla $ign slides in for a quick verse where he adds more fuel to the fire. This sleek banger is NSFW but it should do great overtime on the club and radio circuit. Good work, ladies.
In the music video for "Work from Home," Fifth Harmony hits a construction site with sexy outfits adorned with tool belts. They act as supervisors to the hunky guys onsite while playing around with blow torches and wet cement. Once Ty Dollar $ign hits the scene, the five-piece group twerks it out on a wooden staircase. In the fierce department, Fifth Harmony certainly puts in work.
"Work from Home" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Fifth Harmony's 7/27 album will be released on May 20.
