The wait is over! On Monday, Jan. 12, the RodeoHouston committee announced this year’s lineup for Houston’s most exciting three weeks in March, and it is definitely covers the widest of musical genres. You can say there’s something for everyone, whether you like pop, progressive country, Tejano, or even classic country.

If they’ve been on an awards show in 2014, they’re coming to Houston this March. The season is known as “The Show with a Heart.” As organizers are expecting approximately 1,400,000 fans this year, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced last June that they’d entered into a new partnership with AEG’s AXS Ticketing this rodeo season.

Check out the video accompanying this story, then visit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo website, powered by AXS, create your own MyAXS account. There you’ll be able to join in what they call their “virtual living room” at 9 a.m. (CST) this Saturday, Jan. 17. Ticket sales begin Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

Planners have thought of everything to make your visit to RodeoHouston perfect, as there’s even an NRG Park Mobile App (cue the “There’s an app for that” commercial). The weekday concerts begin at 6:45 p.m. each evening and the weekend performances are afternoon shows starting at 3:45 p.m.

The site of this year’s events is again Houston’s NRG Stadium, located on Reliant Parkway, the only rodeo venue that has an indoor/outdoor retractable roof. Given the cold front, that roof will be shut, but given the music that will be performing inside, the bands might just raise the roof on their own now and then.
