Chris Young and Lee Brice have announced a joint headlining tour. Combining their powerful voices, memorable music and soulful energy to the stage, they will embark on the tour beginning on Thurs. (Jan. 22) at Syracuse's Oncenter War Memorial. "Lee and I had a blast last year when we were out with Brad (Paisley) and so we thought it would be great to join up for a co-headlining tour for our fans this winter," Young says in a statement on Thurs. (Jan. 15). "I can't wait to kick things off in Syracuse later this month and head west all the way to Hawaii!"
Brice chimes in, "Chris and I have been talking about touring together again for a while. We have a lot of fun together!"
Brothers Osborne will serve as the opener on select dates, as noted below.
Both Brice and Young have enjoyed breakout success the past few years. Specifically, Brice landed the first platinum single certification for a solo male act with "I Don't Dance" in 2014. As the title track to his No. 1-bowing album, he proved he had much more depth than he had previously showcased. Young, meanwhile, scored another No. 1 hit with "Aw Naw" and followed it up with "Lonely Eyes," both cuts from his latest LP A.M.
