Anthrax is deadly in concert. As one of the pioneering metal bands, the group now has 35 years of history to draw on when rocking crowds and this weekend at Carolina Rebellion, Anthrax proved why they’re considered Gods in the world of hard rock.
Touring behind the recently-released For All Kings, Anthrax’s sweeping influence was on full display, as the band showcased the type of locked-in chemistry that only comes with decades of playing together. With his signature shaved head and goatee, Scott Ian is a hugely charismatic presence on stage and Joey Belladonna, who rejoined the group in 2010, still has one of the most powerful voices in all of rock.
