Watch: Eric Church keeps the surprises coming with ‘Mr. Misunderstood’ video

Eric Church is not slowing things down in the surprises department. Rolling Stone let the word out that Church has already released the video for his new surprise single "Mr. Misunderstood." Church had the music world and fans in shock when they found out that Church was able to keep his new music a secret without having any details or rumors spread prior to the release.

Nobody saw it coming when Church suddenly had a new album showing up for his fan club members. Church followed up his fan club surprise by releasing the album titled Mr. Misunderstood on iTunes while the CMA Awards were taking place. Church had already been announced as a performer for the CMA Awards so fans were ready for him to pair up with Hank Williams Jr. as the show’s opening act but Church didn’t stop there.

Church came back to the stage to perform his live debut of "Mr. Misunderstood" to a crowd that was just finding out about the new music surprise he was able to pull off. Mr. Misunderstood is album number five for Church and is made up of 10 songs that Church took part in writing or co-writing. Jay Joyce and Arturo Buenahora Jr. went to work as producers for the new album.
