It seems like too long since we've heard from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Frontman Anthony Kiedis assured fans the band were working on a new album back in March when he said they were almost done with their new album. Now, we're closer to new music from the band. This Thursday (May 5) the Red Hot Chili Peppers will provide a preview of their next album with their new single “Dark Necessities.”
The news was revealed on the band's Twitter page yesterday morning (May 2). According to a source close to the band, more information on the single will be revealed following the track's premiere. The upcoming song marks their first single in five years. Much hasn't been revealed about the Red Hot Chili Pepper's next album, though it was confirmed Danger Mouse has production credits. Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich was also brought into the mix. Stay tuned for more information on their upcoming album.
