Riot Fest Chicago announces second wave of bands, includes At the Drive-In, Best Coast and more

Chicago’s Riot Fest has revealed its second wave of bands and it includes some notable acts. Joining the already packed lineup are At the Drive-In, Potty Mouth, Best Coast, Black Pistol Fire, Skating Polly, Upset, Gin Rummy, RVIVR, Radar State, Cockney Rejects, Cap’n Jazz, The Casualties, Mad Caddies, Versus, Seaway, Like Pacific, Grayscale, Warm Brew, Culture Abuse, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black and Kembra Pfahler.

Last month, Riot Fest revealed the first wave of bands including headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, and the newly reunited Jawbreaker. Other acts appearing on the bill include New Order, Ministry, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, Wu-Tang Clan, A Day to Remember, New Found Glory, M.I.A., Prophets of Rage, and Bad Brains to name a few. There will also be several bands who will perform iconic albums in full, such as Dinosaur Jr., The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Built to Spill, Fishbone, Bayside, Mayday Parade and The Lawrence Arms.

Aside from this, the festival also features food vendors and a full scale carnival with rides, games, and the Hellazapoppin’ Sideshow Revue freak show. Riot Fest is set to take place Sept. 15 – 17 at Douglas Park in Chicago. General admission and VIP tickets are still available.
