Full Speed Ahead was released on Jul. 12 through Circle S Records and held the No. 1 slot on the iTunes UK chart over a Top 5 that included Taylor Swift's Red and Keith Urban's Ripcord. The album features four original songs co-written by SaraBeth - "Somebody Who Is," "Keep On Keepin' On," "Song About You," and "Windshield/Rear View," - as well as a cover of the Backstreet Boys' hit single "I Want It That Way."
It takes a certain type of artist to be able to spin a song between genres, and the cover proves that SaraBeth is one of those singers. She effortlessly turns a beloved '90s pop song into something country without losing what made the song a fan favorite in the first place. The four originals, though, also demonstrate that she has something of her own to offer audiences - no matter where they are.
While Full Speed Ahead has yet to reach No. 1 on the US iTunes chart, its rise in the United Kingdom proves that audiences are certainly catching on to SaraBeth's sound, which began with the 2013 album Anything Is Possible and has included three other EPs and two additional singles. Her entire back catalog of music can be found here.
The UK chart-topping comes as SaraBeth is teaming up with Glen Mitchell for a co-headlining tour across the United Kingdom, which is her second trip abroad after a popular UK campaign in 2014.
