“End Game” is the third single from Swift’s latest album, Reputation. The song follows lead single “Look What You Made Me Do” and follow-up “…Ready for It?” She finds herself trapping with one of the genre’s most prominent, Future, and Sheeran on the big-talking track. Hip-hop beats and glints of synth back the trio as they flex their bad sides while trying to recruit a partner-in-crime. Future slides in with a slick verse while Ed surprisingly drops some bars. “I swear I don’t love the drama / It loves me,” Taylor sings. Swift isn’t playing any games on this bold and beautiful banger.
The music video for “End Game” was directed by Swift’s frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn. She comes back down to earth following the intergalactic “…Ready for It?” clip. Well, it’s down to earth for the planet’s biggest pop star, which includes trips to Miami, Tokyo and London with Sheeran and Future. Taylor’s world tour is a sight to see in this after-hours video.
“End Game” featuring Future and Sheeran is now available on iTunes and Apple Music alongside Swift’s Reputation album. Starting in May, Taylor will tour the country in support of the record.
