The Black Dahlia Murder announce headlining tour dates for spring 2016
Metal Blade Records

When The Black Dahlia Murder go on tour this spring they plan on doing something special for the fans. At each concert the band is going to perform their debut album, Unhallowed in its entirety. Each stop on this tour will be at an intimate venue, and opening up for them will be Fallujah and Disentomb.

The Black Dahlia Murder's spring 2016 headlining tour kicks off April 8 in Dayton, Ohio, and it'll wrap up on May 28 with their performance at Bled Fest in Howell, Mich. The album Unhallowed was released back in June 2003 via Metal Blade Records, and it features 10 songs.

In a press release vocalist Trevor Strnad said, "The songs are sounding better than ever before, and we can't wait for you to feast your ears on our debut album as it was meant to be heard." Along with performing all the songs from Unhallowed, the band will also play tracks from their latest album, and some fan favorites.

It was also announced today that guitarist Ryan Knight is no longer going to be in the band. Because of his departure, Brandon Ellis will now be The Black Dahlia Murder's touring guitarist. Knight joined the band back in 2009, and according to the press release, the split was amicable.

Knight said, After nearly 7 years with The Black Dahlia Murder, I feel the time has come for me to step down and focus on other aspects of my life. The decision to leave was very difficult, yet necessary I feel for me to ultimately be happy and keep moving forward."
