Philadelphia prog rockers Circa Survive are back with their latest captivating music video, this time for their single "Premonition of the Hex". The song is taken from the band's latest release, The Amulet, which is set to drop on Sept. 22. Watch the haunting video for the tune above.

Setting the scene in a wooded area under a tent frame, a cult-like service begins. The preacher overlooks the crowd that's assembled and pinpoints one patron seeking forgiveness. The weathered man is given a cup to drink from as his repentance, though his health is quickly taken from him as he falls into the preacher's arms.

"You're dying just to be there, just crying on your knees," vocalist Anthony Green sings. "Be weary of the things you want, you can't predict what's coming."

As the congregation rises to accept a similar fate, one onlooker in the service grows wise to the preacher's intentions. She attempts to pull her daughter away as she lines up to receive the cup. The action is to no avail, however, as the child is pulled from her grasp. The child drinks from the cup as she fades into her mother's arms.

"Premonition of the Hex" is the fourth single from Circa's forthcoming record. The group previously released a music video for "The Amulet" as well as accompanying videos for "Rites of Investiture" and "Lustration". The Amulet is their sixth LP, following 2014's Descensus.

Circa Survive will be on tour this fall in support of The Amulet. They'll kick things off later this month with four in-store shows in the Northeast before picking things up with Thrice in early November. Check out the complete tour routing here.
