On his recent visit to the West Coast, genre-bending British artist James Blake debuted three new songs at gigs in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Blake premiered the songs “I Can’t Believe That We Float,” “Asking For A Friend” and “Black Lung.” As Pitchfork pointed out, Blake also goes into a cover of Radiohead’s “Videotape” at the end of “Black Lung.” You can watch a video of  “I Can’t Believe That We Float” above and watch “Asking For A Friend” and “Black Lung” with “Videotape” below.

Blake’s last album was 2016’s The Colour in Anything, but he has also recently written and produced for some of the biggest names in music. Blake co-wrote the opening track, “Pray You Catch Me,” on Beyoncé's 2016 album Lemonade and was also featured on the track “Forward.” Blake has also collaborated with Beyoncé's husband JAY-Z on the track "MaNyfaCedGod" for Jay’s 2017 album 4:44. Blake has also worked with Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar.
