The 2017 installment of New York Comic Con arrives on Thursday, and the streets of New York City will soon be filled with more Jokers, Pikachus, and Gokus than usual. The annual event will take over the Javits Center for four days of comic book fun, Oct. 5–8. With a ton of panels set to cover several venues, we picked 10 that are definitely worth your time. The four day event is almost entire sold out, but there are still some Thursday tickets available for purchase online. Picking up for will call tickets will begin tomorrow, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m. at the Blue Entrance at the Crystal Palace. If you didn't get your tickets in the mail yet, you can also pick them up at the event.

Tara Strong Spotlight
When: Thursday, Oct. 5
Where: 1A06
Time: 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Tara Strong returns to talk about her storied voice acting career, which includes roles in "Rugrats," "The Powerpuff Girls," and "Teen Titans." She currently works on the "Ben 10" reboot, "Justice League Action," and "Bravest Warriors."

"Michael Jackson's Halloween"
When: Thursday, Oct. 5
Where: 1A10
Time: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The world premiere for "Michael Jackson's Halloween" takes place inside room 1A10 with a special screening of the highly anticipated flick. The animated television-movie special, which officially debuts Oct. 27 on CBS, features the late pop star's music as the soundtrack. It follows two kids on a journey inside This Place Hotel.

ToyFare Magazine: 20 Twisted Years
When: Thursday, Oct. 5
Where: 1B03
Time: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Twenty years ago, ToyFare Magazine released its first issue, and since this release it have become one of the biggest toy magazines in the world. While it was discontinued in 2011, select members of the magazine found success with the creation of Robot Chicken. Staff members will discuss their favorite moments from working at ToyFare Magazine at the 20 year anniversary panel.

"Pacific Rim Uprising"
When: Friday, Oct. 6
Where: The Theater at Madison Square Garden
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

"Pacific Rim Uprising" is set to be released in March 23, 2018, and its director and stars will arrive at the Theater at Madison Square Garden to discuss the upcoming flick. This is the follow up to the 2013 flick, which earned over $400 million worldwide.

Hulu and Marvel Television Present "Marvel's Runaways"
When: Friday, Oct. 6
Where: Main Stage 1-D Presented by AT&T
Time: 7:45 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.

The cast and producers of "Marvel's Runaways" head to the Main Stage to talk about the upcoming show and air exclusive footage to eager fans. The series follows six powerful teenagers trying to take down their parents, who are collectively known as The Pride. The show will premiere on Hulu, Nov. 21.

Advanced Cosplay Q&A
When: Saturday, Oct. 7
Where: 1A24
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

If you've ever wanted to learn a bit about the more advanced aspects of cosplay, this panel is for you. Cosplayers Lucky Grim Creative, BelleChere, and Lodiam Cosplay will join electronics and lighting expert Xuphious and Cosplay And Photography Expo's Rodney Brown in a Q&A session about all things cosplay.

Marvel Television Presents: "Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D"
When: Saturday, Oct. 7
Where: The Theater at Madison Square Garden
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

The cast and producers of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" will discuss their upcoming fifth season, which will premiere later this year on ABC. Season four of the series, which officially introduced Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, gained a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

NYCC Eastern Championships of Cosplay Presented by Singer

Time: 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

The biggest cosplay contest on the East Coast will deliver $5,000 in prizes and the opportunity to represent the region in the 2018 C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay. The judges for the competition are cosplayer Vamp, costume designer Stephanie Maslansky, Singer Director of Marketing Kelly L. Holt, and actress Ashley Eckstein.

Celebrate 25 Years of "Mortal Kombat"
When: Sunday, Oct. 8

Time: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Join "Mortal Kombat" co-creator Ed Boon and some special guests to discuss one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time. The recent installment in the series — "Mortal Kombat X" — was released in 2015 on PS4, X-Box One, Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Android.

"Batman: The Animated Series" 25th Anniversary
When: Sunday, Oct. 8
Where: Main Stage 1-D Presented by AT&T
Time: 4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

"Batman: The Animated Series" turns 25 this year, and producers Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett will join voice actors Kevin Conroy and Tara Strong to discuss their time working on the iconic cartoon.
