14th annual Dallas Blues Festival to bring Sir Charles Jones, Willie Clayton, Pokey Bear and more to the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie

Some of the biggest and brightest blues artists will descend upon Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie in March for the Dallas Blues Festival. The annual gathering will celebrate its 14th concert at the famed Texas venue, bringing together more than a half dozen musicians on March 17. 

Sir Charles Jones will headline the concert alongside Willie Clayton and Pokey Bear. Among other musicians set to rock Verizon Theatre include Lattimore, Lenny WilliamsBobby Rush and Tyree Neal. Tickets for the March 17 show will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. CST via AXS.com.

While Sir Charles Jones and Lattimore have become staple acts at the annual festival, other performers in past years have included Theodis Ealey, Shirley Brown, Clarence Carter and T.K. Soul. The 2018 edition of the popular blues fest will assemble a group of artists with more than 1oo years of experience in the music industry.
