FYF Fest will return to Exposition Park in Los Angeles this July. On Tuesday morning, the Goldenvoice produced event announced the lineup for this year’s festival, which is led by Björk, Frank Ocean, Nine Inch Nails and Missy Elliott, who will be making her first full concert appearance since September 2015 and her only scheduled performance so far for 2017.
The full lineup was dropped right around 9 a.m. Los Angeles time on Tuesday. Returning to take place on July 21-23 in 2017, FYF Fest also welcomes A Tribe Called Quest, Iggy Pop, Erykah Badu, Solange, Run The Jewels, MGMT, Broad City funnyman Hannibal Buress and Angel Olsen onto this year's lineup poster.
Speaking of the trademark poster, the official artwork to go along with the lineup announcement features a hand crafted mural installation by local Southern California artists Danielle Garza, Lauren McElroy, Jessica Cowley and Luke McGarry. The artwork features anything one could want at an epic Los Angeles music festival, including palm trees, pineapples, boom boxes and a photo of Mac DeMarco.
In addition to the festival bringing its first comedy act back to the stage since 2013, the event will also mark A Tribe Called Quest's first concert on the west coast since the release of We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service last year.
Weekend passes will go on sale this Friday, March 24 at 12 p.m. PDT. For more information on the festival and how to buy tickets, click here.
