Prior to the LA Clippers’ Western Conference tilt against the San Antonio Spurs, all fans in attendance will receive a tribal pattern hat. The promotion will take place as part of the Native American Cultural Night.
The Clippers will continue the theme of honoring a diverse range of culture in 2018-19, which took place often last year. This giveaway will be sponsored by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
Following the giveaway, the Clippers will engage in a matchup that will pit two teams that will likely vie for one of the last playoff seeds in the West. The new-look Spurs will run their offense through DeMar DeRozan, who was acquired for Kawhi Leonard in the offseason, and LaMarcus Aldridge.
The Clippers will look to Danilo Gallinari to give them an advantage on the outside against Aldridge. Meanwhile, a group of guards, including Patrick Beverley and Avery Bradley, will be tasked with slowing down the high-scoring DeRozan.
The Clippers have gotten off to a strong start to the season, boasting one of the NBA’s most productive offenses thus far.
