The LA Clippers will commemorate Black History Month during the team’s tilt against the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 13 at Staples Center. The Clippers have taken pride in promoting a multitude of cultures throughout the season, and special events, promotions, and displays will take place throughout the game.
In addition to a recent promotion honoring Chinese Heritage Night, the Clippers will also recognize Hawaiian culture on March 11.
These nights are interspersed with a vast range of giveaways, including bobblehead dolls, wristbands, and hats.
During the game, the Clippers will look to take advantage of a rebuilding Suns team. Phoenix, which is currently in the last place in the Western Conference, will bring two-star players to the game in Devin Booker and rookie Deandre Ayton. The Clippers guards will be responsible for limiting Booker, while Montrezl Harrell will be tasked with slowing down Ayton.
This game gives the Clippers another opportunity to further improve in a tight Western Conference playoff race.
