The Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League will have Marvel Night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena on March 31 when they host the Stockton Heat. Among the special characters who will be in attendance include Black Panther, Captain America and Iron Man. 

In other Reign promotional news, the Reign is having a five-kilometer walk and run on March 30 starting at 8 a.m. at Vendor Village. There is breakfast for the first 250 registrants. Those who register for the walk and run also get a ticket to the Reign game against the Heat on March 31. 

The Reign currently has a record of 21 wins, 27 regulation losses, six overtime losses and two shootout losses for 50 points. The Heat have a record of 25 wins, 26 regulation losses, four overtime losses and two shootout losses for 56 points. Ontario's leading scorer is Matt Moulson, who has 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points. Stockton's leading scorer is Alan Quine, who has 19 goals and 33 assists for 52 points. 

The Reign is presently playing some of their best hockey of the 2018-19 regular season. The team has won four games in the month of March so far. 

On March 1, the Reign had no trouble finding the back of the net, as they hammered the San Jose Barracuda 8-4. Moulson led the Reign offensively with four points (two goals and two assists). Other Reign players with multi-point games were Mike Amadio and Brett Sutter (one goal and two assists for three points each), Sheldon Rempal (two goals), Nikita Scherbak (one goal and one assist for two points), and Brad Morrison, Philippe Maillet and Zack Mitchell (two assists).

Then on the next night on March 2, Moulson scored the overtime winner at the 33-second mark of the extra period as Ontario beat the Iowa Wild 5-4. This win over the Wild was a comeback for the ages as Ontario was once down 4-1 to Iowa with 2:55 left in the third period before they scored thrice in less than three minutes of action to force overtime. Sutter had two goals and one assist for three points and Matt Luff had one goal and two assists for three points. 

On March 8, the Reign then beat the Tucson Roadrunners 3-1 in a low scoring contest. Three Reign players had a multi-point game as Mike Amadio notched one goal and one assist for two points and Moulson and Craig Wyszomirski had two assists each. Then on March 9, the Reign beat the Roadrunners in Arizona again by a score of 5-2. Mitchell led the Reign in points with three as he had three assists. Maillet also had a multi-point game as he had two assists.
