Rock fans will have to wait to find out which bands make the top five official inductee list of rock bands for 2018. According to sources, the Hall of Fame is preparing for their official voting process to begin with the top five bands to be announced in the month of December. The Hall of Fame is conducting their honorary ceremonies in a new way this coming year. They plan to honor certain members of each selected band. This may include former band members of each nominee listed.

David Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher of Depeche Mode are also listed as nominees. Their previous band mates Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder are also noted on Depeche Mode's band roster as well. This is the first year that Radiohead has made it to a nominee status based on the Hall of Fame's eligibility requirements.
