2019 BRIT Awards performer lineup: George Ezra, Little Mix and Jorja Smith will hit the stage

The first group of 2019 BRIT Awards performers have been announced. George Ezra, Little Mix and Jorja Smith are confirmed to hit the stage at The O2 in London on Feb.20.

George Ezra and Jorja Smith are tied with three BRIT nominations apiece this year. As previously reported, Ezra is nominated for British Mastercard Album of the Year for his 2018 album Staying at Tamara’s, as well as British Single for “Shotgun.” He promoted the album with appearances at the BBC Live Lounge as well as a guest spot on “The X Factor UK” last year.

George Ezra is touring in 2019, including a two-night run at The O2 on March 19 (Tickets) and March 20 (Tickets).

Jorja Smith was last year’s BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice Award winner. Her debut studio album, Lost & Found, is up for Album of the Year. She’s also up for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Smith’s star is rising fast. She caught Drake’s attention and performed as a special guest at some of his Boy Meets World tour dates in 2017. She also teamed with Stormzy for the 2018 single “Let Me Down” and appears on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack for “The Black Panther.”

Time has flown by since Little Mix became the first group to win “The X Factor UK” back in 2011. They won a BRIT Award for British Single of the Year in 2017 for their hit “Shout Out to My Ex.” They picked up their second BRIT nomination for British Group this year and their fourth nomination for Video of the Year this year for the empowering visual featuring Nicki Minaj, “Woman Like Me.”
