Las Vegas is set to deliver a brand new hip hop festival titled Day N Vegas. From Nov. 1 through Nov. 3, a plethora of rappers will take the stage at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Today, the inaugural lineup was unveiled to the public.
Friday, Nov. 1 will kick things off with sets from acts such as Bas, Miguel, and Lil Uzi Vert. Headlining the night is J. Cole, who is set to release his new album The Fall Off. This is the follow up to his 2018 studio album KOD, which is his fifth consecutive studio album to reach number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart. J. Cole is also set to release the compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III, which features Day N Vegas performers (and Dreamville artists) Bas, Earthgang, and J.I.D.
Saturday, Nov. 2 will have performances from Kid Trunks, Rich The Kid, and Lil Nas X. Travis Scott will take the headlining spot that night. The Houston native gained critical acclaim for his 2018 studio album Astroworld, which went double platinum in the United States. In April, Scott unveiled the singles "Power Is Power" from For the Throne: Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones soundtrack and "The London."
Sunday, Nov. 3 features Kendrick Lamar closing things out as the headliner. His 2017 studio album DAMN earned the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Music. Other rappers performing that day include fellow Black Hippy members Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock. Head to the festival's website for the full lineup.
