The Overwatch League will see a few changes for its second season when games begin Feb. 14, including the addition of eight new teams to its list of competitors. As one of the league’s newest team, the Vancouver Titans have crafted their roster over the course of the off-season in hopes of winning the title in their debut year.

The 2019 Vancouver Titans roster may look familiar to Overwatch Contenders fans, since it’s an exact carbon copy of the team that won the Season 2 Overwatch Contenders Korea, RunAway. The RunAway roster defeated Team KongDoo Panthera in the series’ finals and will now look to translate its success to the Overwatch League.

Four members will serve as the Titans’ DPS line, including Lee “Stitch” Chung-hee, Seo “SeoMinSoo” Min-soo, Kim “Haksal” Hyo-jong, and Lee “Hooreg” Dong-eun. Kim “RAPEL” Jun-keun, Kim “SLIME” Seong-jun, and Lee “Twilight” Ju-seok will serve as the team’s support trio while Choi “JJANU” Hyun-woo and Park “Bumper” Sang-beom will wrap up the lineup as tanks.

Hooreg stands as the only player on the roster who has competed in the Overwatch League, having formerly competed on the London Spitfire before he joined the former RunAway lineup. While the majority of Titans roster may not have experience competing in the professional league, the team will benefit from its common language as an entirely Korean roster.

The Vancouver Titans will step on stage for the first time when the team meets the Shanghai Dragons on Day 3 of the Opening Week.

Fans can get their tickets to see the Titans live and in action for their debut year here at AXS.
