2CELLOS announce 2017 Score World Tour, multiplying the power of strings
YouTube--2CELLOS

Captivated fans of 2CELLOS -- the duo of classically trained Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser -- have cause for jubilation. The Jan. 16 official announcement of the 2017 Score World Tour promises not just the personality, playfulness, and musicianship so perfect that no one ever forgets, but also the added power of a string section. The exponential power in strings comes in support of the duo’s album Score, releasing worldwide on March 17 and available for pre-order now at 2Cellos.com.

A mere glance at the YouTube views amassed by 2CELLOS is a staggering reminder of the following for these musical partners, who claim to “love AC/DC as much as Bach". None of their videos have fewer than several million views and the official clip for their “Game of Thrones” treatment is already near 2 million views after being released just a few days ago (watch the video above). 2CELLOS has garnered international acclaim from every corner of the globe, including the 2015 MTV Europe Music Award for Best Adria Act, and 2014 Japan Gold Disc awards for Instrumental Album of the Year for In2ition, and Song Download of the Year for “Kagemusha.” As gifted as the duo (and sometimes dueling) musicians are, they have been complemented by the presence and preeminence of fellow artists. Lang Lang and Sir Elton John are among those who have been a part of the 2CELLOS experience. 2CELLOS have made countless appearances on television as performers, and been featured in episodes of “Glee” and “The Bachelor,” while fans conjure dream dates of concerts just for one. The auxiliary string section is sure to do more than “justice” to the fourth full album, magnifying fan fervor as much as the signature sound. The pair may even throw in a country jig at their Grand Ole Opry stop.

Presale for the 2017 Score World Tour begins Jan. 17. The dates commence in London on March 22, and take 2CELLOS to Serbia, Italy, and Slovenia through April 8. US dates begin July 18, running to Nov. 5. Check out the full list of the group's North American tour dates below and keep it here on AXS.com for more news on the duo.
