The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival is three months away, and the Las Vegas-based festival once again has a star-studded lineup that music fans will love. Which performances at T-Mobile Arena absolutely should be on your schedule Sept. 21 and 22? Check out the 5 must-see hearts at iHeartRadio Music Festival below, then get your tickets and VIP packages now through AXS.
Dustin Lynch seems to get better with every album. The country singer-songwriter has had all three of his records reach the top two on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart, and he'll come to T-Mobile Arena with some relatively fresh music since his last album Current Mood was released on Sept. 8, 2017. That will make it just over a year old by the time he performs in Las Vegas. But most importantly, he has no shortage of energy when he's performing live. Lynch thrives off the spotlight and engaging with his audience, and the whole point of going to any music festival is to enjoy the live experience.
Mariah Carey is one of the best-known voices of this generation, but that's only half the reason to catch her at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Last month she announced her second Las Vegas residency, which is scheduled to end on Sept. 10, less than two weeks ahead of the festival. So if you're not able to get tickets to her residency, the festival is a viable alternative, and it'll be worth watching to see if she carries over any elements from that residency into her iHeartRadio set. She'll just have spent months on a new show, so why not use some of those new ideas? And if by some chance her residency gets extended, then her festival set will surely entice audiences to head to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. It's a win-win.
Luke Bryan has experienced a renewed surge in fame after winning over TV audiences as a judge on "American Idol." Not that he wasn't famous before, but now everyone knows just how much charisma and presence he has. Those are two big qualities when it comes to live performance. Bryan will be able to have iHeartRadio audiences in the palm of his hand, and he's got plenty of songs that would be a perfect fit for what's essentially a giant party. Performing "That's My Kind of Night" or "Kick The Dust Up" will have the whole T-Mobile Arena on their feet.
It's been five years since Justin Timberlake performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he has something huge up his sleeve to mark his return. The ten-time Grammy Award winner knows all about big performances, having headlined this year's Super Bowl among other major events, and he also knows how to bring a great show particularly in Las Vegas. He closed his 2015 tour at the city's MGM Grand Garden Arena. People will be expecting big things from Justin Timberlake and there's every sign that he will deliver.
The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival will mean a lot to Imagine Dragons, because Las Vegas is the Grammy-winning band's hometown. Not only is this their natural environment, but it's a city that they care deeply about. That means they'll be working hard to put on an absolutely perfect performance, and they're going to have an emotional connection to the audience that most other acts won't have. Add in how Dan Reynolds and his colleagues are a phenomenal band to see in person (like at last year's iHeartRadio Music Awards), and they absolutely will have to be seen to be believed.
Tickets for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival are on sale now through AXS. They include pit passes, two-day passes, and the iHeartRadio VIP Package that features tickets to both stages and access to a private lounge and restroom. Don't miss these five outstanding acts as they descend upon Las Vegas on Sept. 21 and 22.
