Tickets have gone on sale for the 2019 dates of the touring David Bowie tribute show known as A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour. The tour, which features former members of Bowie’s band, will begin Feb. 6, 2019 at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, AZ and run for about six weeks until it closes out March 22 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas. Some of the other cities that A Bowie Celebration will visit in 2019 are:

Feb. 13 – San Francisco, CA – The Warfield (Tickets)
Feb. 19 – Denver, CO – Paramount Theatre (Tickets)
Feb. 23 – Royal Oak, MI – Royal Oak Music Theatre (Tickets)
Feb. 24 – Cleveland, OH – Agora Theatre (Tickets)
Mar. 9 – New Brunswick, NJ – State Theatre (Tickets)
Mar. 10 – Glenside, PA – Keswick Theatre (Tickets)
Overseeing the A Bowie Celebration shows will be former Bowie keyboardist and band leader Mike Garson, who also has the distinction of playing with Bowie at his very first and his last US concert, as well as 1000 shows in between. Guitarist Earl Slick will be on hand; he played with Bowie on the Diamond Dogs, Young Americans and Reality albums. Other Bowie vets round out the band and include guitarist Gerry Leonard, bass man Carmine Rojas and drummer Lee John. Vocalists will include Bernard Fowler and Corey Glover and surprise vocalists may appear at various shows. The set list will consist of hits and favorites along with some deep album cuts.
A Bowie Celebration has a limited number of 2018 shows remaining including one on Sept. 28 in San Diego, CA at the Humphreys Concerts by the Bay (Tickets) where the special guest vocalist will be actress and singer Evan Rachel Wood. Wood has performed with the group before. Another stop will be Sept. 30 in Saratoga, CA at The Mountain Winery (Tickets).
