Alessia Cara announces fall 2019 tour and new EP, 'This Summer'

Alessia Cara fans get ready for a double-shot of good news. The Grammy winner returns in 2019 with a fall U.S. tour and an upcoming EP "Summer," which will drop later in 2019 via Def Jam/UMG.

Dubbed The Pains Of Growing Tour, in support of the "Stay" hitmaker's 2018 sophomore studio album, the fall romp launches on Oct. 21 in Boston at Orpheum Theatre. The two-time Juno winner will make big stops in New York (Tickets), Santa Barbara (Tickets) and Los Angeles (Tickets). Select presales being Tuesday, July 23.. Tickets go on sale to the public starting Friday, July 26.

The Canadian singer-songwriter unveiled the news on July 22 via Twitter in conjunction with a new single "Ready," which is the lead release from the EP.  The "Stay" hitmaker promises to release a new song from "Summer" every couple of weeks until its release.
