Anderson .Paak has announced the title and release date for the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated 2016 album Malibu. Keeping with his California theme, Oxnard--an ode to Paak’s hometown--arrives on Nov. 16. The rapper took to Twitter to reveal the date along with the album’s artwork. You can check it out below.
As Paak detailed in an interview with Zane Lowe, he worked closely with Dr. Dre on the Aftermath release. Pusha-T and J. Cole will also guest on the album, according to AllHipHop. Paak has previously released the singles “Till It’s Over,” “Bubblin” and “Tints” featuring Kendrick Lamar. You can listen to “Tints” by following this link.
Oxnard is Anderson .Paak’s third studio album under his current moniker (he released his debut album O.B.E. Vol. 1 in 2012 under the name Breezy Lovejoy). Oxnard follows 2016’s Malibu and 2014’s Venice.
