It seems like musician Andrew McMahon only just wrapped up a tour and he's already announcing another, as well as a new album.

After a few shows this year, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness will hit the road yet again in early 2019, with stops in Norfolk, New York and Los Angeles and support from Flor and Grizfolk. Tickets are on sale now right here on AXS, with prices ranging from $23.50 to $45.50.

The tour is in support of newly announced album Upside Down Flowers, out Nov. 16, the follow-up to last year's Zombies on Broadway. It is currently available for pre-order, including with limited-edition merch bundles.

"There is a piece of me in this and I hope a piece of you, my friends," McMahon said of the album on Instagram. "As I see it we are all upside down flowers. Beautiful and backwards, and if we’re lucky…just a little proud."

McMahon also released the album's first single, "Teenage Rockstars," about the early days of his career in rock band Something Corporate, complete with a video featuring clips of that time McMahon said felt "like yesterday" in a Facebook post. In a separate post, he said he's tried to write the song "a few times" but is "glad" he waited.

"I don’t think anyone is ever ready for their dreams to come true," he continued. "I know I wasn’t. All I’ve ever wanted to be was a songwriter. When I finally got the chance, it happened so fast, I didn’t fully appreciate how lucky I was. Looking back on that moment now I’m so grateful to still be sitting behind this piano; to be able to reflect with joy and without judgment on what it meant to be a teenager in a band living out my dreams with my best friends at my side."

Another new track, "Ohio," was released in August.
